File cover decorations

It's my third semester in AIOU, M.A Teacher Education. And our supervisors insist upon decorating file folders like a wedding invitation though I don't need as I am already married but all in vain.
Lessons plan have least importance than cover and little heed to pictures whether the subject suited for or not.
